This video is particularly bad because the teen was obviously way too excited to see the Jonas Brothers to worry about the movement of her camera. There isn’t a clear shot the entire time. Her singing is also pretty distracting along with the screams of all the love-struck girls. The sound quality goes in and out probably due to her finger or hand being placed over the microphone. My advice to this girl would be to somehow steady the camera and tighten up the shot because all you really see are the lights and small characters on stage. I would advise her to not sing along and try to surround herself with people who don’t scream the entire time. It would also probably be smart to know where the microphone is located on the camera! 🙂
This past summer, my parents took me to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday! Aside from all the usual Vegas activities, I got to see a few of the shows there. We saw the “O” cirque du solei show, Penn & Teller, and The Blue Man Group. While all of these shows were absolutely amazing and I had never seen anything like them, the Blue Man Group was the one that stuck out to me.
First of, they are three men that paint themselves blue and use various items as instruments. It’s a crazy concept to begin with. We got to experience the show from the first row and had to wear ponchos… Throughout this show they don’t speak, not one word! They also spent about ten minutes just walking around the audience and staring at people. I had one of them crawl over my chair! This show was one of the most random and one of the oddest things I’d ever seen, but it was by far my favorite! There is never a dull moment! The music is fantastic as well! The combination of the light shows and the rock music make for an amazing performance. I would recommend this show to anyone! Beware of twinkies and jello launchers and excessive amounts of toilet paper! 🙂
This story is shown with just five photos and it’s short, simple, and to the point. It’s pretty much just someone skinny dipping at sunset. I think it’s a funny story but it’s shown in a beautiful way. It’s a lot of scenery photography and it was a very effective way of telling the story!
This is the original picture I started with (on top,) It’s my friend Kathryn on her birthday! When I photo shopped this picture I started by cropping the photo I then changed the exposure to -12. Then I increased the highlights, shadows and temperature of the picture. I sharpened it and whitened her teeth just a little :). I also blurred the background and made her the focal point. The end result is showed below!
